Basically I'm searching for an orchestral sound, a very well-filling sound to create a relaxing and kinda sad and emotional mood in the slow and beautiful song my band is working on. I have used the search function in the forum, but I haven't had any success so far.

Have you gone through the mellotron library? Some of those string sounds are really eerie and dark, might be the kind of thing you're looking for? To fill out the sound, you can layer two string type sounds and perhaps raise the attack time to generate more of a swell.

Thank you both! I found just the right sound i was looking for! Mixed two different string samples and put a low-volume emotional pad underneath to fill
