Anyone know how to get the oscillating synth sound halfway through The Middle (Jimmy Eat World)?
I tried soulman's The Middle program from his Cover Songs dump (thank you!) which uses the Mod Wheel for it, but I need my left hand for the low synth part.
Is there a way to get that (kinda complex) sound without the wheel?
Here's the sound I'm after:
Thanks in advance for any ideas
Jim

Re: The Middle - oscillating synth?
Try the attached program. I use a control pedal to bring it in, but you could use a volume pedal or the mod wheel (although you apparently don't like that option). As I recall, I simply play the middle D and F# with the volume off at the start of the song and then it comes in as desired when I use the pedal (you should get one if you don't have one already!) which I also use to fade it out. The KB HOLD key is on so it plays constantly. I actually play guitar on this song, so I just need the nord for this part.
