Issue with 4th C#

Post by Holger »

Hi guys,

tonight I discovered that my Nord Stage 3 compact doesn't work properly. The 4th C#-Key works only with Organ-Engine. When using Piano- or Synth-Section or even extern section the Key doesn't work at all. I have absolutely no idea. But I have made a short clip with my mobile phone: https://share.icloud.com/photos/08V8JFp ... ZI7PWOavEg
Firmware is 2.54.
Maybe anyone got an idea?
Thank you!

Hi Holger,

you might have some dirt under the contacts of that key - have you set the B3 Organ trigger point to high in the systems settings? That could explain why just the organ responds when you press the key since the dirt may sit below the contact for low trigger points which are used for the other engines if I’m correct. If that’s the case you would have to clean the contacts, there are some thread in the forum describing the procedure

Check this https://chris55.github.io/ns3-program-viewer/ awesome tool to visualize NS2/3 programs and re-create them on the other instrument!

Hi Schorsch,

thanks so far. I don't remember changing any trigger point. Even don't know how to. But will try to clean the contacts.
