I really like this sound.
Can you give me some tips on how you programed it on the NSEX so I try on the NS2 synth please ?

Hello frantzkb,
It's a deceptively simple pad based upon two saw waves "same octave" with about 4 cents of detuning.
4 pole low pass filtering, full keyboard tracking of the filtering with the resonance turned up enough to give it that juiciness.
The amp envelop should have a soft attack and 0.5 second release.
As an option, I use the aftertouch (AT) to introduce the slightest amount of filter cutoff sweep.
Also you can introduce LFO modulation of one oscillator to enrich the chorusing effect of detuning.
Stereo reverb and chorus is also important. However, if over-applied, pins the sound squarely to the 1980s
I hope this helps.
I remember reading an interview with a keyboardist like Steve Porcaro where he said that when he got a new synth, the first thing he did was dump all of the factory programs and start programming sounds from scratch.
This was a "sink or swim" method of learning a new piece of gear, the first 10 or so sounds were really difficult, but, by then you began to really understand what made your synth work, and the panel became more intuitive.
Cheers, Hanon
