I've tried to dump some banks to my nord lead with the midi channel set to 16. it works. thanks!
the problem now is that the presets dumped on the nord go away when i change programm number... is there any battery to preserve the ram?
i don't have the expansion board...

1 nonsense...
2 These were delivered at first on PCMCIA cards, which were able to hold that amount of data, so a full card. The files on Clavia's site origanally had to be down loaded to the inserted card. You can also down load single Programs or Performances.
3 A lib has 4 banks: 3 Program and 1 Performance bank - 3x99 Programs and 100 Performances (which also contains 400 Programs if you like)
4 No, you are a notnut, which means you 'haven't received the information yet. If you ask again, than you are a nut!

As I wrote before, on the NordLead1 you have to be dumped to the PCMCIA card, which needs the expansion board...
Try up load single files and save these to the 40 free locations...
Save the original files to the computer first!!!!
Without an expansion you are rather limited, I'm affraid. (synth is almost 20 years old now!)

Same issue with Nord 2x - using MIDI-0X and a usb to midi cable but as hard as I try I cannot restore factory sound. Have sought support from NORD but no reply yet.

Local off is nonsense...
On a PCMCIA card there is room for three Program Banks (3x99=297 Programs) and one Performance Bank (100 Performances or 4x100=400 Programs).
Such a card set-up is called a Library.
