Well, Hanon, you are right again. Very tough to duplicate. However, I came up with something that may work for mdlieb on the gig. Very touch sensitive, but that can add the effect that is needed for the emulation. Pulse wave, saw wave, and frequency tracked to the keyboard as you suggested. For the tribute band, it could possibly work ok.

Wow! Thanks so much! That's a pretty good effort. What I've been using has more of the popcorn sort of effect through higher resonance and shorter envelope.
I'll try to blend the two. And of course the ultimate test is whether it cuts through a rock band mix. Good job
