have you this message really on all programs? Message still present even if no midi connection, and no pedal connected? Maybe a knob in the filter section that is no more working correctly and send continuous data

yes, message on every program. I had also just connected the sustain pedal, nothing else (no midi, no other control pedals).
But after your post I´ve checked again the knob "LFO AMT" and moved it up and down several times, now the problem no longer occurs. maybe you have found the cause, but I am still surprised, because the controller was set to Off and still sent the signals. Maybe it wasn't the update and it was a coincidence. I will continue to monitor the problem, but I hope that it will no longer occur.
Many thanks for your help!

Finally my NS3 compact works properly with an external midi 88 keys controller over MIDI. I already lost my hope they ever fix it. Almost pulled my trigger to buy an external box to adjust the Midi velocity curve.
To me v2.60 is a great improvement. Now it works as it should!

Re: New OS v2.60 for Stage 3 - still no significant enhancem
After a few weeks, I updated to OS 2.6 and checked the MIDI-in velocity curve without my MIDISolutions Velocity Converter.
The piano sounds are quite playable from remote and very close to my NS3C keybed sound. Which seem very good for band use, but with my Yamaha CP33 as weighted keyboard still a bit hot for solo performance, though. I think I'll continue to 'temper' the velocity slightly down for remote use - but will be able to play very reasonably if I should forget my velocity converter. Which is great: Excellent compromise!
Expressed in numbers: At mid range velocity (63), I had lowered the power down to 35 before, now it's 53. By taming it that way, I've got the impression not to take away as much of the brilliance of the sound as before. We'll se in the long run.
