Hey guys, new to the boards. I'm looking to create a heavy hip/hop dance synth on the Nord Stage EX88, such as the one they use in "Yeah" by Usher. Also, if anyone knows how they created that sound originally, (like what type of synth was used, or where those trance dance leads come from) that'd be cool to know. I'm new to synths. I'd appreciate any help.

Welcome to the forum!
Here's a quick synth patch that I put together on my NSEx76.
The original sound in the song is rather non-descript.
If had to guess, I'd say it was an Access Virus.
