Velocity Issue

Postby endoskeleton1 » 27 Sep 2011, 17:00

Hi Gang,

I have had my NE3 for about 6 months now and love it !! I just noticed the other night that the B and C keys (upper octave) play slightly louder than the rest. I don't think they are playing at full volume but noticeably louder....any thoughts ??

Thanks,
Bill

Hello Bill,
Welcome to the forums!
The membrane switches under the keybed are prone to dust and dirt fouling "as are many types of keyboards".
I've experienced this problem too, but haven't been able to correct it short of disassembly and cleaning :(
Cheers, Hanon

I just had the same thing happen to me on my brand new electro 3 (of about 2 months). One of the keys' touch sensitivity has already stopped working properly. Can anyone make any recommendations as to resources that explain how to take it apart and see if anything has gotten in the way of the contacts?
