Kære nabo!
What is your opinion is on the Nord brand and it's product?
Brilliant! The name is cool! The color stands out, seen on almost every TV channel now. Real artists use them. The high price shows it's a premium product. Don' change a thing! (I'm also born in Stockholm.)
And what do you think Nord does better/or worse than other keyboard manufactures?
+ : Ease of use! Brilliant sounds. Excellent software. Outstanding flexibility. Portability. Makes you feel really professional. It's a musical time machine!
- : None. Well ... Perhaps too many models to chose from. Short model life span. Price.
... but it's a simple premium product that does the job well, just like Absolut Vodka.
Don' change a thing, Clavia!

Re: Study of the Nord visual identity – Opinion
Nord is a player's board, you sit down, switch it on, start playing and enjoy. For me its the path of least resistance to bring my music from the fingertips to my ears.
Visually a Nord board is very recognisable, you know one when you see one. It's not a piece of furniture or a decoration element, so at least for a non-performing home musician like me it is purely a non-compromising choice in favor of music. And I like it that way, so I'm not dissing Nord's visual appearance or (absolutely not!) saying I would love it even more if it were more like a Clavinova home model
Ignoring the design aspects, perhaps there is some similarity in Nord and Apple brands and what makes people choose them and love or hate them? There is the same air of no-compromises-to-please-the-masses attitude and you cannot always pick either purely based on the tech specs or certainly not the price, but there's something in both that just ... well, works so well for the intended purpose.
