Hey there,
I'm having some issues concerning my Nord Stage's panels.
So, let me explain: I want to recreate the classic 'Shine on You Crazy Diamond' intro for a gig. I think Rick Wright originally used an arp solina + a brassy moog lead (maybe with some hammond too, not sure, and other effects). The thing is, I want to do it with only one keyboard. I'm trying to keep it simple because last time I played I had to carry too many equipments.
Then, I read my nord's manual. As I'm a newbie to this, I took a look at some topics here to know the best way of doing it. I've managed to set up the stringy/pad sound using only Panel A. So, in order to get a lead synth, I would need to activate Panel B, once Nord Stage accepts only one synth sound per panel.
But that's the problem. Absolutely no single panel B in my Nord gets a synth sound. I tried literally every program. It shows the led lights on for the synths, as if they were working. But I don't get any sound at all, even when trying to change the volume. Somehow, every panel B in my keyboard only has a piano or organ option.
I started looking for possible solutions and saw some people talking about the Nord manager -- which I have never used. I tried to connect my Nord Stage on my laptop (windows 10), but it kept showing the message "Please connect your Nord instrument" no matter what I did.
Any ideas on how to solve this issue?
Thank you.

Re: Issue with PANEL B (Nord Stage Revision C)
Hi, Can you hear panel B with headphones?
Did you try Synth Init (page 13 of manual)

try go to the System Menu, then navigate to pages 6-7. What does it say there? Is the routing set to Global, and is there a chance the Synth has been sub-routed to channels 3 and/or 4?
Sorry: I am realizing now you meant the first original Nord Stage. Forget my answer...
These are valid for the original Nord Stage too, therefore worth to check the audio routing settings in the systems menu

Did you tried inverting the panels? What is now in Panel B, swap it with Panel A to check ? (swap panels is powerful yet extremely easy to accomplish)
Current Keyboard Rig: Nord Stage 3 compact, Yamaha Montage 7wh, Yamaha YC61, Alesis Fusion 6HD. Yamaha babygrand Piano. Extra sounds Ipad with AUM and plenty of synth apps + onsong pro
