Hi all
Has anyone tried to replicate church organ registrations on the NS3. So for example on a church organ you may have pistons 1 to 6 where many organists would build up in volume or timbre. Just wondering if anyone has done similar on NS3 using programs. If so what was the best way you did it or organised it please.
Thanks Pete

Re: Church organ programs
I am using to play pipe organ the software solution "Hauptwerk" (www.hauptwerk.com) running it on my Microsoft Surface Laptop and using the keyboards of my Nord Stage 2 and my Nord Lead A1 (connected via the EXTERN function, only Midi signals, no Pedal, but I simulated the pedal in the lower part of the Nord Stage 2 88-keys Keyboard). There is a sample testversion with a smaller english organ available which can be used to try it out without time limit. They sell many also huge sampled organs - the quality is limited by my loudspeaker setup... The sound is great, very natural and the screen of the laptop shows the real pipe organ panel and behaves like a real organ.
I use also my Nord Lead A1 synth (I think the Stage 3 synth section is very similar) to produce very nice pipe organ sounds but the layout of the A1 with performances with max. 4 layers (programs) cannot really simulate a pipe organ with the many stops.
