Hanon - Thanks again for your help! Your response time was fine - gave me time to think that this might be more of a Win7 security issue rather than a driver incompatibility issue. Again - appreciate the attentiveness to the problem! Regards, Bob

Maybe this can help
Windows 7 does not have the automatic Add Hardware Wizard, like XP and Vista did. So the driver installation will not launch automatically by just connecting the Electro 2.
There are several ways to do this, one is to connect the Electro 2 to a USB port and find this "Unknown Device" in the Device Manager and "update" the driver from there (by manually pointing to the electro 2 driver on your hard drive).
There are ways to manually launch the Hardware Wizard in W7:
