Re: 2019's Christmas present?
May I express here my disgust with the modern Christmas in the consumption-addicted western world?
Why are some of you whining about whether or not Nord brings a Christmas present? Of course it's cool if they bring something new with Christmas as a tradition. I am also curious what it would be, if any. However, Nord does this for themselves, not for you. They are a company and create a little buzz doing so. This also means that you are in no way entitled to complain if they do not come with a Christmas surprise. Whining about that only proves the point that you are a consumption-addicted follower to the church of commerce. Go play music instead!
BAM! Happy Holidays to all of you.

Merry Nord’ish Christmas, and holiday for anyone that are so lucky.

Re: 2019's Christmas present?
If Nord doesn't come through this year with a present, I'm going to throw all my Nord's in the river and only play Casio's going forward. Looks like I'm going to be stuck visiting and talking to family this Christmas instead of jamming on my new Nord Clavinet D6 sound with key-click release & and mute options. This really sucks.

Well I’m still enjoying the White Grand and v6.0 EP’s released earlier this year. I’m in no rush.

Yes - the White Grand (even on the P3) is quite an achievement! So tasty. I know some think the Lady D is a little tired but those 2 are my go-tos these days. Still love the Bosey for some stuff (Bennie and the Jets is a fave...) and several uprights for different stuff but really the White and Lady D are petty fantastic. I would LOVE an XL Lady D or another version of a Steinway 9’ samples in whatever magical way they did the White - but very happy with the sounds I have today.

Re: 2019's Christmas present?
They are both good. I'd say it depends on which of these pianos sounds better through your amplification, and that is not something we can decide for you. Make sure you adjust EQ to get optimal results. What I like about the Royal Grand is its softer range, sounds very gentle and natural to me. The White, on the other hand, has great clarity which may also be desirable for the kind of music you are making. Up to you!
(Perhaps there are better threads for such questions than this one?)
But of course we can look forward to a 2020 Christmas present, I hope
