Yes, I own a Qu-16. It has everything you need with British Mic- Preamps. I‘m completely happy with it.

I have an X-Air 18 that does it all: rehearsals, live gigs, live band recording and more. You just have to get comfortable with doing everything from a tablet or laptop.
I think I prefer a console with physical controls. Do think it's the best for my workflow
If you want, you can hook up a Behringer X-Touch (MIDI mixer) to have real (motorised) faders to your command!

Re: Advice for Digital mixer
Thank you guys!
Good tips and hints from you all.
So far I've narrowed it down to one of the small consoles, like A&H 16, Yamaha TF1 or Soundcraft Performer 1 (second-hand).
The Behringer X32 is too big, and the combination of X-air and X-touch is not as compact and smooth as I'd like.
I'm still happy for other suggestions
