Yeah, and weeks more of wait time...maybe months. I dunno, I wouldn't have done it myself. The board is too expensive.

You're right - he got one now. Of course, he had to crack the case to replace a fuse, probably voiding his warranty. And even if he didn't void it, if he ever needs warranty service he has to ship it back to Germany. I took a look, it costs hundreds at best for a private person to ship something that big overseas. The vendor explicitly stated that all overseas return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility.

Bottom line - it was a gutsy move to get the board early, hope it doesn't break on him or act bizarre because it's wired for Europe.

Shipping was only about $100 USD! I won’t have to ship it back to Germany. Any authorized dealer can work on it. Just to clarify, the fuse is external. The only thing I had to do inside was flip the switch from 230v to 115v. It was super easy.

Just to update this thread, my Keyboard (NS3 - Compact) get's here 25/09! Super excited!

Easy fix. Just needed the right T20 torx bit to get the screws out. Five minutes total, actual fix took less than five seconds.

Only bummer: I screwed the wood ends on too tight, which broke the wood slightly.
