Is there any need to register new Nord product for warranty purposes etc.? Most other brands require this but I cant find anything on the Nord website. It does say to contact the point of purchase re any problems so I'm assuming this means a receipt is all that's required, not registration with Nord.

Re: Product Registration
Nord does not (and practically speaking, cannot) try to maintain an international database of registered owners. Purchase documentation is all that's required for warranty service if the occasion arises. Frankly, I think that the American public has become indoctrinated to expect to have to register for warranty eligibility as a ruse by corporate America to obtain mailing list info for marketing purposes and for sale to third parties. But that's just a guess on my part.

Re: Product Registration
In some countries (for example mine, Italy) you can register the Nord you have purchased on the official country/local distributor website, maybe that's the case in the UK too?

Re: Product Registration
For the warranty, in Europe I believe there is 2yrs statutory warranty in most goods (including computers, remember the Apple extended guarantee scandal?). I would keep the receipt and ask the shop where you bought it from.

Re: Product Registration
Yes, in the EU the minimum warranty period is 2 years. Some manufacturers offer extended warranty with registration, but nothing like that with Nord. So without a Brexit you should be fine

Note that this EU warranty is a DEALER warranty, not a manufacturers' warranty.
In most places, if something goes wrong and you take it anywhere else than the original dealership, you forfeit the legally mandated warranty. This is important especially if you purchased it online.
