ELECTRO 5D Rotary

I just upgraded my 5D from 2.12 to 2.14,
If I press the rotary button it turns red on then returns off, so I cannot use rotary.
I could with 2.12.....
I have difficulties to setup my drawbars Upper and Lower with this new version.
Anyone had similar problem ,or am I just tired....

Sorry : 1.22 and 1.24 firmware.....
My question must be idiot, after switching off the Electro 5D, the rotary button does the job.....
One hour ago it did not.....

Yes, except that I have difficulties for some settings :
I upgraded to 1.24 firmware and since then :

1- I cannot change drawbars for the LOWERPART (except 16' and 8')
2- I cannot save a setlist with a personalized name (SAVE AS / Shift ) : the alphabet does not appear......

Any subtility I did not read in the 24 pages manual ??????

1- I cannot change drawbars for the LOWERPART (except 16' and 8') check if you are using B3+ bass instead of a b3 split....I'm almost sure you are in b3+bass mode...
2- I have os 1.24 and no problem in saving setlist names.

Question 1 : Ok, I can understand that,
Question 2 : Drawbar settings + SAVE AS + Shift = alphabet appears : not for me, do I forget something ?

Suppose I want to reinstall the 1.24 firmware, do I have to do a factory reset first ?

And also, if I turn on the rotary for the upper part, the Rotary light turns on then immediately turns off.....
I am new to Clavia but this sounds strange to me....

Yes, the Upper part is on.
I found that if I want to have the rotary with the Upper Part, the Live2/Sound Button has to be ON.
I must say I have great difficulties to understand the Philosophy of this Keyboard.....
And with a 23 Pages manual and a Clavia Company that does not answer my mails.....
Let's say I am not clever enough for that kind of keyboard....

Hi Angusperde,

It is likely that the program currently residing in Live 2 location just happens to have Leslie enabled. This is a coincidence and nothing more.

Have a look down at the Effects Section, specifically the SPKR/COMP Section. The Leslie is one of several amp sims available to you. If this is not ON, it will not work. If you want rotary speaker, then it must be set to ROTARY (with the upper two of the three LEDs illuminated).

The problem with the 23 page manual is not that important things are missing. It is that important things take up only one or two lines and because many people tend to read through the manual casually and without paying attention to detail, they miss many important things.
