I have a setlist for a bunch of songs with various settings for delay times depending on the "ideal" tempo the band has set for each section. However, when actually playing, the tempo isn't always what we originally intended. I'd like to be able to just modify the tempo to be a little faster or slower depending on what our drummer is doing.
I can tap in the tempo (not always accurate when delaying with non typical rythms) or hold down shift and turn the delay knob (takes both hands off the keyboard, so annoying when adjusting live).
Is there a way to not have to hold down the shift button when changing the delay tempo? Or will I have to just connect a knob box through MIDI and set one of them to send out the tempo CC (#92 i think)? Have a faderfox sc4 for controlling various pedals that I could probably just add in to the chain for this purpose.

Re: Shift Toggle for delay time on 5HP
Hi David,
Am I missing something here? There are two methods for adjusting delay time there: 1) tap tempo, and 2) holding down tap tempo button and turning dry/wet knob. This does not involve the SHIFT button at all, and since the two controls, button and knob, are immediately adjacent to one another, this should not require two hands.
Bless,
Pablo

Haha, nope, you're totally right
. Was away from my electro when I was thinking about it and wrote the post. It's still a bit awkward to use one hand, but totally doable! Not sure why I didn't think about doing that
Thanks!
