Re: Does anybody have a sound for Yes-"Owner of a lonely hea
If you are looking to copy the keyboards on the record it's going to be very difficult, if not impossible. The arrangement uses lots of very short parts with a lot of different sounds and unique samples, some of them virtually impossible to reproduce. There is no overall single keyboard part or sound for the whole song. It is made more complicated because the guitar also has a lot of important separate parts and unusual sounds, which might be difficult for a single guitarist to cover on stage, meaning you might need to think about playing some of the guitar parts yourself, depending on what your guitar player decides to do. Unless you're a very experienced player and programmer, you might be better off coming up with your own version of the song.

Hi Hoyermusic,
your wish was my inspiration for getting into the sample editor. So here's my first result of sampling. Hope you like it.

The original Orchestral stab should be in the Fairlight sample pack you can download off the clavia homepage.
The Nord giveth; the Nord taketh away…

Many thanks for all your reply's......
@Eumel, thanks alot. I'll going to try it in combination with your excellent sound samples.
@RedLeo, you're right, it's almost impossible to do it in exactly the same way, but would like to come as close as possible....
our guitarplayer has found out the right sounds so I have "only" to do the incriddible rest of sounds.....

Thanks to both of you, I download it today and will try to convince my band that there were also guitars' parts in the 80's bands, not keys only....we might play it then,,,,
