Hi - just find a sound you like, preferably royalty free, maybe no.7 'Airplane Lift Off' here:
http://www.soundjay.com/airplane-sound-effect.html

Download the wav, import it into the Nord sample editor, and create the sound. It would be a good experiment if you've never tried before - shouldn't take long at all.

Yes - there are various free tools online, including online tools like this: http://audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-wav
Or, many people use a more complete sound editing program, called Audacity (it is also free).

In the sample editor, you will import the wav and then assign it to one (or multiple notes). There are lots of other settings but you can go with the default for most of them. You won't want the sample to loop.

hi spadders, i m tryng to add my wav at Samp Lib but nord sound manager tell me that it s possible to add only nsmp files. i need to change partition but i don t know

Hi VCardie,

You cannot load .wav directly to the Nord. You must first load it into Nord Sound Manager freeware, map your new sound(s) onto note(s), then hit the GENERATE button and the software will convert from .wav to .nsmp and load it onto your Nord for you.
