Sexy Back - Justin Timberlake

Post by ejwalker »

Has anyone programmed synth sounds for SexyBack by Justin Timberlake on their Nord Stage 2?

Thanks!

it would seem that this program does not contain a sample...in order to fulfill your request, someone with an NS2 would have to download the program into her or his instrument and then sample it manually, then dump the resulting .wav file(s) into Nord Sample Editor, set the various settings appropriately, and generate the .nsmp -- rather a lot of work

wondering if Justin doesn't have a "Sexy Front" tune to go with this one...?

Having mp3 files is good practice generally, but not required. In the instance of simple programs (essentially sysex data) this becomes much less important. When someone posts a 5MB sample file, it's rather a hassle to go through download, possibly have to clear space in the instrument to accommodate it, set up a program which uses it, making demo audio files more important. Simple program files are, however, little teeny tiny affairs, take up almost no space, take virtually no time to download from internet to computer or from computer to instrument, and on NS2/NS2EX where factory load banks A and D are identical, it is easy to find an innocuous place to put it on your instrument for testing purposes.

SajaPro, the question "do you have a sample mp3..." was intended for the person, Andreas Bek, not for you.
