Hi!
I'm a young musician who does all kinds of small-medium sized gigs with my Nord Stage 2. I've had the possibility of borrowing a Roland KC-150 keyboard amp (primarly for monitoring) but now it's time to get my own. Most venues I play have their own PA, so I've used the amp for monitoring. But at the venues that didn't have their own PA, I've had to use that amp as my (and the vocalists) only source of amplification. I find that it's too low when I play in a rock band context. I would like to have a setup that could be heard over a drummer and 2 guitarists for ca 100 people as well as giving me decent sound for monitoring.
I have ca 1200 dollars (6-7000 NOK) to spend. Stereo would be nice, but an option is to get one speaker now (for example a QSC K10) and one later. In "mono mode" my Stage 2 sounds great, so this isn't the most important factor. I usually carry/set up all the equipment myself so weight and size is importaint. Bass response is also important since I do a lot of left hand bass and bass synths.
Thanks,
Kristian
