Hello!
Lately my Nord Lead 2x stopped respond to control changes. program changes work all fine, aftertouch as well. of course i have turned on the control data receive several times, but it did not change anything. midi channels are all set to 1, also global midi channel is set to 1.
i double checked with 2 controllers and midi monitor in cubase, that the midi data was all sent correctly.
i hope someone can help me with my problem, i would be very thankful!
cheers
thomas

Re: NL2X: no response to control change
Hi,
Not sure what would cause this, but here are a couple of suggestions you might try:
1. Switch the NL2X (OFF), then (ON) again, and see if that helps.
2. Try changing the midi channel of the four parts to 1, 2, 3, 4, and global to 16. See if that helps. (Channel 16), set your midi track in Cubase to Ch 16 (the global channel), enable the parts you want to trigger on the NL2X, send your controller data, and see if it responds to CC# changes you transmit to it. Make sure you set (Local) to OFF after you power up the NL2X, since it will default to (ON).

Re: NL2X: no response to control change
Manual, page 66: "To switch between the three different parameters, hold down SHIFT and press the PROG/CTRL button. The left character in the DISPLAY switches between ‘P’ (Program), ‘C’ (Control) and ‘A’ (Arpeggio). For the two first parameters (‘P’ and ‘C’) you use the UP/DOWN buttons to switch between ‘oF’ and ‘on’. The ‘oF’ value means that no data of that type is transmitted or received; ‘on’ means that type of data is both transmitted and received."
Me again: Make sure C is set to "on."
Me again: Make sure C is set to "on."

Thanks for your answers!
@Muziksculp: that actually did help! curiously it works if the global midi channel is different than the channel i have set in the part. so if global channel is 2 and i transmit via channel 1, it works… still strange isnt it?
