Nord Lead 2 Factory Sound Banks

Post by rod24945 »

Hello All

I'm new to the Nord Lead 2x and the Sysex system.

My Lead 2x has been pre-owned and I suspect that some of the sound banks may not be as they were originally. I've looked in vain for a 'Factory Re-set' but it would seem that I must use the Sysex midi transfer program to upload these banks. I have a lead with a USB plug on one end and two 5 pin Midi in/out plugs at the other end.

I wonder does any one have a You Tube link or a set of simple instructions to show me how I may upload the Factory Sound Banks successfully.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Best wishes

Rod

Hej Rod!

Yes, SysEx MIDI transfer is the way to go!
This new topic will probably end in some useful hints

And here is what you want ... if it's a 2
