Nord Lead 1 service manual

Post by gadtronix »

Hello,
I am desperately looking for service manual (schemes) to provide to my electronic engineer.
My unit is not litting anymore. Obviously the power supply is ok though.
We asked to Clavia for help but still got no response after 2 weeks...
Any help would be highly appreciated! I am terribly sorry and miss my gear!!
Best,
JC

It is a shame that Clavia is not supporting early adopters. Swiss importer told us they don't have the documentation.
They should remove Nord 1 from their legacy hardware and be clear that they no longer provide support to their early clients.
This is so frustrating!!

Ciao,

Only thing I came across some time ago was a link at workhousepoets.com where you can find he Nord Electro 2 Service Manual (it's short but contains some schematics as I can see):

Not sure what Nord 1 you mean. But if it is an Electro, could be very similar (Nord Lead 1 on the other hand obviously is a different animal).

This would seem to be a reflection on the Swiss importer and not necessarily on Nord. As a matter of general policy, documentation of sophisticated intellectual property is not made public by anyone in this business, but most companies will be happy to release such documentation to legitimate service techs engaged in repairs. In my experience, this includes Nord. Perhaps your tech will have better luck making that inquiry than you.

Bless,

Pablo
