Hi and thanks for a great forum!
Got my first Nord synth (Lead 4) a couple of weeks ago and I must say Im impressed. However after working with it now I stumbled up on something that I guess Im not the only one struggling with. I mainly use a sequencer with some externalsynths and the four slots on the Nordlead 4. But each time I start up my gear I have to go and switch to "Local off". Is there some way of saving this setting in the Nordlead? Or can I send a midicode from Cubase on startup to switch Local to off?
How is your setup according to this?
Looking forward to your reply!
Best regards,
Carl

Re: Nordlead 4 Local on/off?
Kjaere nabo,
My NL2X does the same, returns to "local on" at restart.
It is a safety device - if it stayed in "local off" mode, I would not be able to control my dear NL2X through the front panel.
What I can see from my manual, this has to be selected manually, from the front panel. Not through MIDI.
Study your own manual and you should find what is possible with the NL4.
Lykke til!
