Weighted MIDI keyboard that feels like the HA88 Stage.
Hi.
Im looking to buy a Nord Stage2 HA88 but its a bit out of my budget at the moment.
So i want to find a solid weighted 88 key midi keyboard that feels as close to the Nord HA88 as possible.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks!

Kurzweil SP2X ? 88.
Perhaps not exactly the same keybed version as the Stage, but it feels totally OK IMHO.
And since it is discontinued you might find it at a nice price.
Heavy, though.
Edit: The Studiologic family?

NE3HP, NP88, NS2, DPP1, NL2X, NL2X, NLA1, NL4, NE5D, NW2 (Collect Them All?), some classic Rolands, Arturias, a Waldorf, a Kurz, a WONOK3, a pile of guitars, a P-bass, loopers, amps and computers ...

Studiologic VMK 188 Plus http://www.studiologic-music.com/vmk-18 ... tions.html uses the TP40GH (even better than the version used on NS) and has Aftertouch too.
But I guess you are looking not for a master but for a fully featured keyboard, then you should look at other stage pianos than are within your budget (which is...??). In any case you should try any model yourself to judge if it is close enough to your expectations and (most important) you get pleasure when you play it

Be warned about the Studiologic. It does not have velocity curves! I can only use my VMK-161 with my Classic Stage Compact in combination with the Velocity Converter box by Midi Solutions. Without this box especially Rhodes and Wurlitzer sounds are almost impossible to play properly.

A Doepfer is a good masterkeyboard , I used it for many years . I switched to the nord stage 2 A coupe of months ago and te difference is very small. ( nord modifies the Fatar keyboards
