Lead 2X + iPad/Midi Tool Box = True?

Hi!

Has anyone tried the combination Lead 2X & Midi Tool Box?

Since I miss the Nord Sound Manager Lead 2X version this might be a useful tool ... any comments welcome!
There might be some shortcomings when connected to older slower synths, or?
I will NOT buy the A1. I'll keep my dear 2X. 8-)
