Spent some quality time with the new(ish) amped Electric Grand, this patch and MP3 is the result. The new EG is really rich and IMHO responds quite nicely to effects. The sample is in three parts, the first part has the plain sample with just a little EQ and reverb, middle part adds slow Leslie with overdrive, and the last part adds chorus and auto-wah on top of that. The attached patch has those effects configured as they appear in the sample, but inactivated initially. No compression or DAW effects other than some crossfade between takes, the sound is as it comes out of the board.
I have the amped EG sample in slot 5 of the grands, so you may have to adjust the patch accordingly if you have it somewhere else.
