is there a way to navigate in reverse on the Stage 2 in the Effects selection section and the Piano selection section for example?

I'm afraid not. One way cycling only.

Re: toggle/navigate in reverse?
The answer is no for the piano selection.
The answer is yes for the effects selection. Simply hold the shift button and press the effects selection and it will cycle through the effects in the reverse order.

Serves me right for making assumptions!smullins wrote:The answer is no for the piano selection.

They must have changed it since the Stage classic. A bit strange that they've implemented it in the Effects but not in the Pianos, where it would be more useful.

Re: toggle/navigate in reverse?
It's because the shift has other functions for the two piano sound selection buttons. For the "type" button, holding shift will display the actual sample currently being used. For the "model" button, holding shift and pressing the button will change the keyboard velocity response curve. (BTW, there is an error in the manual that describes the model button shift behavior doing exactly the same thing as the type button... and then a page later describing it properly.)RedLeo wrote:Serves me right for making assumptions!smullins wrote:The answer is no for the piano selection.
