SOLVED Piano 2 won't start...
Dear all,
yesterday, I got a boot issue with my Piano 2...
Display is stucked on "Nord Piano 2"... No sound, nothing happen so far.
I try to restart. Nothing.
I try to let it run all night long. Nothing (I thought while reading topic on the web that it will recover after a few time but...)
Help...
Thanks a lot for your reply...

Re: Piano 2 won't start...
I think there's an issue with your NP2 that can only be fixed by a repair technician. Maybe an issue with the flash chips (or the firmware in them) or an issue with the power supply that causes it to crash during startup.
If it doesn't boot in say 30-45 seconds, it's not going to. It doesn't hurt trying multiple times (cycle the power), but I wouldn't try flashing the firmware.
I suggest contacting the distributor for France, for which you can get the contact data by going to the Clavia website and clicking on Distributors at the top-right. For your convenience, I've pasted their info below.
You can also contact the shop you bought it. I think your Nord will need to see the 'doctor', unfortunately.

Many thanks for this reply
Was expecting something softer than the doctor...
I'll contact french distributor during opening hours and see what's going next...
If any soft medication is found, I'll let you know...

Wow. I'm a bit surprised it got stuck starting up, while you were still able to solve it using the described procedure.aerovince wrote:Piano 2 has recovered...

I'm glad you got it solved, without needing to send it away or anything like that.

Hopefully your answer will also help someone else who might run into this issue.
