On one of the other forums there has been some discussion of the
GSI Burn which apparently has similar qualities to the vent. The strong point
For me seems to be the number of patches you can save and access.

The Mini vent doesn't seem to offer anything over the original.
The original vent wa soriginally made with the horns stopping raandomly.
Later model had the horns "stop" facing forward. I don't know what serial number
was considered to be the breakpoint between the two versions.

If you are getting Mini vent by spending only 100 euro then i would like to suggest to go with it.

I'm assuming you know that there are two mini-vents, one for guitar, and one for organ? I'm also assuming that you know that the Ventilator ll is being released in another month?

My advice, FWIW:

If you just want to find a sound, set it and forget it, buy the mini-vent for organ.
If you want to tweak things a bit, wait until June, and go for the Ventilator ll.
If you want midi and presets, get the GSI Burn.
If you are broke (aren't we all?!!) buy the used original Ventilator.

Personally, I'm waiting until next month, I've had the cash burning a hole in my pocket for ages!
