print patches?

Post by brucecoughlin »

I just bought a STAGE EX and would like to be able to print out my patches as a text file for organization in my synth sounds database.
Is there a way to do that? Perhaps using Sound Manager? I tried and tried and couldn't figure out a way.

Or is there a downloadable text file of at least the factory presets for the time being?

Seems like all the info is there in Sound Manager, there's just no copy or export function.

Also: is there a way to increase Flash Memory? I'm assuming no, but thought I'd ask.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

That is actually a good point. Sorry but I don't think there is a direct way to get a list of your patches in writing. I don't have my Nord Stage anymore, so I can't check myself.
There might be a way of copying it, I am not sure, and of course you can always write them down yourself :-/

It would actually be very nice to have a way to print the program list. I have missed that too a couple of times. It would be a good update for the Sound Manager.

Our nice Admin Johannes made a list of the Factory Programs and synth patches a while back. Here it is:

Scroll down the page to get a newer version with both v4 and v5 comparison.

Sorry but it is not possible to increase the flash memory. Clavia has confirmed that.

Congrats on your new Stage EX and have fun :)
