MIDI Control of keyclick volume

Post by dhjdhj »

Love my C2D, using it live with a number of keyboards but rather than using presets I use MIDI heavily to define the desired settings (drawbars, leslie, perc, etc) for each song. I have everything working except keyclick control, I cannot find way to control the keyclick volume via MIDI.

I'm hoping it's possible and just undocumented.

Anyone know?

Thanks,
David

In my experience, if you can control it via MIDI, it will send MIDI when you change it (which is a convenient way to figure out what MIDI message to send).

Have you tried if your C2D sends MIDI if you change that setting?

Edit: if it turns out you can't set this via MIDI, maybe you can work around this by sending a complete program via Sysex?

Thanks for responding.

I don't think it produces any MIDI but that will be easy to check.
Sending a complete program via sysex is not viable, keyclick is something I need to be able to change on the fly, within any song, and without changing any other parameters.
