Hi hi hello,

I just received my brand new NS2 this weekend and I am looking forward to create sounds for my cover band.

Since I love this forum so far, I thought I need to contribute one of my first programs. Please feel free to give feedback and improve upon.

The Poker Face Synth: When playing start only with the synth in Slot A, then after a few bars add the synth in Slot B.

I use 3 patches for poker face. One for the intro/verse then a different one with a synth strings thing for the chorus then the third to cover the bridge bit where you have the bass synth from the verse with that warbly Egyptian riff over the top.

I have a few patches to upload. Just doing some YouTube videos to demonstrate how I use them live otherwise they might not make sense.

Here is a single patch that covers the sounds in this tune pretty well.

Start with the mod wheel up halfway. The first distorted synth sound is played on the B above the upper split. The pad for the chorus can be played with both hands below the split. For the modulated synth sound near the end of the song, simply pull the mod wheel back to normal and the distorted sound will morph into that.

My bass player played all the left hand stuff, so I never had to, LOL

It's a lot easier if you have a bassist who can get that big industrial sound. I tend to cover it and the bass player doubles up really clean. Makes it sound huge.
