Hi guys - I need some help. I've read through the manual a few times and I'm not getting a clear answer. On the NS2, by default are outputs 1 and 2 = L and R for stereo? I bought my NS2 used, is there a way I can check to see that this wasn't altered?

You have to go to the system menu.
Refer to page 42 of the manual , output routing.
"1 & 2" "3 & 4" , "3" , "4"
check also if output routing is in "program" or "global" mode.
if is in global mode , EVERY instrument in every program in routed that way...... (example "sinth in slot A and B is routed to 3 and 4"....so in EVERY program is routed that way........so you'll not gonna hear ANY synth by default output 1 and 2 !!!!)
put "PROGRAM" mode, and check in system mode if make sure in that program everything is routed to 1 and 2.... (piano a and b , synth a and b , organ)
the settings are saved now with program , so you can decide for EACH program every single routing. then remember to store

Yes, that's right. These are the outputs you would normally use for stereo operation. It's buried in the back of the manual, on page 60, section "Audio Outputs 1-4". thank you sooo much! 1 follow up question...I determined I am in global mode which is good for me. When I put the keyboard in Mono Output mode, does it send mono to both 1 & 2?
