Here is a patch for the original Don Henley version of this song. It again uses the PowerSynths Brilliant sample recently posted on the Nord site. The piano uses the Bright Grand sample.
The upper split is for the secondary keyboard intro (my band never did the 6 minute version) and the lower split has the piano/synthstring layer.
This is one of my favorite songs.
