Good initiative.
-Nord Stage 2 SW73
-I just want a "normal" sounding Rhodes as it would be as new. The samples Clavia have made are great, but imo too specialized in different ways.
The E.piano 1 is too deep-sounding and has no bark.
The E.piano 2 has no bell.
The E.piano 3 has too much harmonics.
The E.piano 4 is adjusted just as the E.piano 1 so again no bell. It sounds a bit different since it's a MkV and of course every rhodes sounds somewhat different.
The E.piano 5 is a dyno-rhodes I think. It is great for some things, but too punchy and too much bell compared to the sample I am looking for.
The E.piano 6 has been adjusted just way I want, with the ''ideal timbre'', with a ''medium miking'' distance. But I am just not liking the very deep bell sound of the sparkletop.
If they would adjust one of their other Rhodes (Mk1, Mk2) as they did with the E.Piano 6, I think it would be perfect. Nice amount of bell, not too much or too little harmonics and can sound both soft or with bark depending on how hard you play.
Also since some of the samples are essentially 6-10 years old(have only had minor improvements since). I think it would be reasonable that the new samples would be bigger in size and sound better than earlier samples provided. (I know size isn't everything)
-Also. Just as much as I want a new rhodes, I definitly want a new improved Wurlitzer and Clavinet (with off-note) sound.
Thats my 2 cents.
