Nord lead 2 not loading sounds from Sys ex

hi first post!

I recently saw the page with all the sound libraries http://www.clavia.se/downloads/sounds/nordlead2.htm and thought it would be fun to load them in my nl2

However i cant get it to work, i used Logic Studio 8, that didnt work, so i downloaded SysEx Librarian that Looks like its working however it transmits (port and channel are correct and tested) when i press play, it shows it going through the files, however when i go to store in my nordlead there is nothing there

The card is not locked or write protected . I even tried ot do it over the user programmable 1-40 channels, nada. The global channel is 16.

What am i doing wrong? I should mention i have os 1.02 (should i upgrade to 1.06? found a chip on ebay for $30)

A bulk upload will be placed into the active bank of the PCMCIA card, not the intern memory 1-40.
After uploading they are in the choosen card location, overwriting all Programs there...

ugh not sure it all seems to be working but the new sounds dont load into my nord!!
The nord is 100 % set on correct midi channel 16, plays from and to sequencer perfectly so midi connection is right

i m putting my nord on program 1.01 from my card
pm SusEx Librarian im loading a Sys Ex file from clavia site
i press PLay on Sys Ex Librarian
it shows its dumping the data and midi card shows activity
However the sound on the bank doesnt change. I press STORE and STORE again and nothing, the same sound that was there before is still there .

what am i doing wrong!?!?!

Do you have any data on the PCMCIA card?
Can you save any Program from the internal memory (1-99) into the memory location 1.01?
Select location using the curser; play the Program to check it; press Store; navigate to 1.01 and press store again. Is the original sound on the card or not?
Are you on a Windows machine?

Yeayeah everything works good on my PCMCIA card, i can save my own programs and performances to it no problem...
I have three banks on it
1.01- 99 +p This is the bank i save my own sounds to
2.01-99+p (this is full i think it came like that?! dont know its been years)
3.01 This one is empty

Again are you on GLOBAL Midi channel 16?

Yeah. I couldn't get it to work with Logic pro or sysexxz program. Wondering if the eprom update when I get the chip will help?

You are working with the files from Clavia. Maybe these are scrambled during download. Try one from here http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/02 ... 1_Patches/ (these are all singele Programs, no Banks or here http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/02 ... mIndex.htm
The librairian should handle these and you will see the leds change on the panel.
It's just plain SysEx and no Midi.

Thanks bro i will give a whirl a bit later
