Re: Factory reset NS2ex 76
I have a similar problem. Yesterday I tried a full restore and Nord Sound Manager tells me that it "can't move the Marimba from the piano partition" (?!?)
This is the first time it happens, but my NS2EX is now VERY full, much more than it was when I last did a full restore (less than 1Mb free in both piano and sample memories), I guess that if I delete a few sounds and free up some memory it will be able to restore normally. But I can't risk any problem now because I have lots of shows coming. I will try it when my gigging schedule eases up.

Re: Factory reset NS2ex 76
Strange, maybe it has to do with the change of Piano Category for some samples? However you can still unzip the restore file (Factory or yours) and restore Programs/Samples individually

Re: Factory reset NS2ex 76
I found an old backup and that worked perfectly.
But not the factory reset

Re: Factory reset NS2ex 76
Probably that Factory Reset is too old now for newer NSMs, but as I said you can unzip it (rename it to .zip before) and restore its content manually (Programs will not be in the same order, but better than nothing or an opportunity to reorganize them)Storklund2 wrote: 17 Mar 2026, 18:24 I found an old backup and that worked perfectly.
