Hey, I was wondering: I have a stage 2ex; can I control the organs bass pedal with any midi controller? For example if I had a simple footswitch that sends midi could i use that? Cause a lot of real hammond players use the bass pedals just to accent the left hands bass lines, without even playing the same notes, so I wonder if I could get that accent with just a small cheap footswitch so i don’t have to carry around or buy midi bass pedals..
If possible, any suggestions on a small footswitch?
Thx!

Re: Midi bass pedal question
1) the only MIDI message that can trigger note on NS2 is a Note message so you need a MIDI pedal that can send note messages
2) there is no "organ bass pedal" on NS2EX, Organ section has only 2 Slots A/B but (yes) you could assign one to a specific channel and play it only from an external keyboard/MIDI (see NS2 manual or the Nord MIDI Tutorial available here on NUF downloads)
3) if you need 2 organ manuals for your hands, you can still use the synth section for the bass (same way, specific channel + switch it off from NS2 local keyboard)
