Re: Looking for "Lessons in Love"patches
Hi Emiliano,
pheeww - that's a hard one: Because of the significant bass-line which is supported by heavily quantized and sequenced (ghost) notes by a clav-like synth...It's one of the reason why this song works on readio and also on the dancefloor.
I tried to realized the (possibly) live-played keyboard-parts:
Layer I: one split
lower zone: Perc-like (like MJ's "Beat-it" sound) combined with a choir-sound (for the part of the guitar-solo you can morph out the perc-Sound - so you only have the choir...)
upper zone: DX-like heavily reverbed Piano-Sound
Layer II: one split
lower zone: the good old chorus(ed) rhodes of Mr. Lindup
upper zone: for the first part of the chorus: DX-Piano - morphable by wheel with the horns for the end of the chorus.
And there can be heard so much more...(sequenced sounds under the rhodes etc...)
Hope you like this atttempt (please don't judge my mistakes in the quickly recorded live played mp3-snippet)...
Regards
Tim

Re: Looking for "Lessons in Love"patches
Thank you so much Tim. I will have a look into it.
One question though... when you say "like MJ's Beat-it sound" and the "good old chorus(ed) rhodes of Mr. Lindup", are you referring to some known sounds from this forum? Else, where can i find those?
And sorry for the late reply, I hadn't seen the message.I thought I would receive a notification or something.
All the best,
Emiliano
