After many many issues with my nord drum 3P and after thinking of selling it 30 times, I have officially parted with it. It is now someone elses problem!
Repaired by clavia 3 times and still has reverb hiss and the midi implementation just sucks on this unit. Is it channel 10 and global 10? Is it global off and channel 10? Is it channel off and global 10? All without triagering 2 or more sounds at the same time??? Good luck.
And when the sensitivity is set over a certain amount the unit goes crazy and triggers all the pads like its connected to a sequence on meth. Unuseable live since vibrations of any kind will trigger the unit
The pads lost their velocity and sensitivity unless connected to a Roland spdsx pro like Ive been using.
Ive decided to use my Roland with way better feeling pads and trigger isolation and will control omnisphere and other drum plugins than to use this mess of a device.
Good luck everyone with your units! Maybe ill buy the 4P if it ever comes out. But by the looks of it, nord abandoned this side of synthesis
. And after this journey, not sure ill ever buy a clavia product again. As you can see this forum is basically issues and problems and not much of appreciation for this thing.....red flags....
