Performing in live mode vs saved program
I'm fairly new to Nord Electro 6D ownership, & this is my first Nord. I perform about 4 times a month with a couple of bands. I'm not seeking to duplicate exact keyboard sounds from recordings, just to have sounds that please me. I thought I'd learn the most by performing in live mode, and changing various parameters (like vibrato, eq, etc) on the fly. I'm beginning to think this was a good learning technique but it produces problems in real life performance. For instance, while splitting the keyboard, using bass in the left hand and piano in the right, the left sound sometimes changes from bass to some other random synth sound. The same happens with other parameters like Wah. I'm not sure if I'm carelessly triggering these changes or if playing hard triggers them. But, I'm wondering if I set up programs and use them for performance instead of live mode the keyboard will be more stable. Also, thinking that if parameters still change during performance, it's easier to find a program (if I put them in an easy location) than to use the dials to re-set everything. Thanks for any related insights.

Of course, you won't find an easy way to get back to what you had in the beginning of the performance if you are in live mode.
But spontaneous changes of whatever value should be observed: I don't think this could be normal. Of course, there can be hardware issues as well as user related ones
