Is This Possible To Do?

Post by ESFlash »

Nord S4 HA 73 with Yam FC7.

I have the FC7 plugged into the Organ Swell input. And pedal parameters on page 2/7 are,

TYPE: FC7 and FUNC: Volume (not Swell).

I found that the Organ responds with a wider dynamic range when set to Volume and not Swell.

I also appreciate the ability to make the Organ volume go to 0 when it's set to Volume; and as former A100 owner I understand that a real Hammond does not go to zero. For me I need the wider volume range and silence at the top of the pedal, that the Volume Setting offers.

My issue:

When set to "Volume" the pedal now also controls the volume of the Piano and Synth sections.

Is there any way I can keep the Volume Parameter and only have it work on the Organ Section?

I think you'd have to use the other pedal for that (CTRL), using a morph.

I believe that's the only way to do it from a pedal controller, but don't forget -- you've got some nice faders as well which I have learned to use.
I think I have gear issues ....
