Nord Electro 6D 73 & sustain pedal behavior

Post by lefantome »

I finally replaced my old workhorse NE3 with NE6D. I'm otherwise super happy, but one thing is bothering me.

I'm using one pedal to both act as a sustain and rotor speed switch pedal. Now, sometimes I use the Leslie simulation with pianos. In older models, the pedal would only act as a sustain pedal, but on my NE6 it also changes the rotor speed, which is not what I want. Is there any way to make it act only as a sustain pedal for such patches, or am I forced to buy a separate rotor pedal?

I asked a similar question on another forum. Just bought a second pedal . Now have one pedal for sustain, and another for Leslie effect.

Yes you can use sustain pedal with or without rotor control.
Manual page 29.
System menu 7.
Type. Then funcion allow you to select with or without rotor.
