RE: Electro 6 (Synth Voices?)
Hi folks,
(I'm not quite sure of the best forum to place this post and so I decided upon here in the end. Moderators, please feel free to relocate.)
I am specifically looking for some synth-type vocals (and similar) for my Electro 6. There is a particular soundbank available on SynthCloud called "The Famous Synth XL". The first preset ("Daft Voices") is absolutely brilliant and perfect for my needs. However, unfortunately the remainder of the package is not at all suited to my work/requirements.
I would really like a whole soundbank dedicated, and mapped out, for more 'Daft Voices', 'Vocoder' and 'Robotic' type samples, please? Perhaps a user here has already produced a soundbank of this genre? Should she/he be willing to share that would be great! Or even compile one for me (obviously, in this instance, we would come to a financial agreement).
I have attached the very first preset of "The Famous Synth XL" of which I was complimenting above. As you can see it's mapped and contains about two octaves worth of samples!
Many thanks in advance for any kind assistance offered here.
Best,
Paul

Re: RE: Electro 6 (Synth Voices?)
Well - I´m sorry - but I have nothing like this in my folders (but the "Daft Voices" of Synthcloud)...
But if I would need someting like that
(with Michael Jacksons "Who´s Bad" from the End of the Song
over the genious JP-8-Breaking-Sound of Spliff "Deja vu" (German stuff)
to the Shakuhachi from the Beginning of Peter Gabriels "Sledgehammer")
I would create a Sample with all these Sounds in with the Sample Editor on my own.
This would be the best solution to have only the stuff, you need...

Re: RE: Electro 6 (Synth Voices?)
... but - by the way... FX-Sounds...
This (again) genious "JP8-Breaking-Sound" of Reinhold Heil would really be an interesting Sample to have...
Stuff of the good ol times,
where you could be a Hero by creating a sound
that appeares for just a second in song
and stays in mind for decades.
Good Job Reinhold...
Listen to 0:28 or 3:58...

As I just like to point to only 2 seconds of the song, I thought the German version doesn´t mind.monsterjazzlicks wrote: ↑07 Apr 2025, 22:50 Thanks a lot mate. I had honestly never even ard of that tune before? Obviously it's the German version!![]()

You know - this has been the early 80ies in Germany with the "Neue deutsche Welle".

But - like so often - you can have an English version too:

Re: RE: Electro 6 (Synth Voices?)
Thanks a lot M_A_C,
That was interesting mate.
I remember a song in the 80's "99 Red Balloons". I think the band was called Berlin? They kept the lyrics in German here and it was a massive hit!
