I'm considering switching from an NS4 88 to an NS4 compact now that I find myself taking the board out multiple times a week.
Anyone know if I can restore a full backup from my NS4 88 and restore it to a NS4 compact?

Didn´t try it - but this should work properly.
I´d done this successfully with a NE6_73 to a NE6_61...

You can do that, but the key action is absolutely not the same, as you may know.
