For most of my string patch usage on my NS3, I like them consistent and don't need velocity dynamics, so I turn off the Velocity so I don't have to bang my keys to get max volume.
However something I just noticed is that having Vel on 3 and hammering the keys seems to get louder than if I have vel off, which I always assumed meant everything would be at max volume. Is there some parameter I'm missing? I think I've checked everything but I found that strange.
